The Finance Committee assists the pastor with the budget and in overseeing the financial concerns of the parish. They meet the last Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Room. There are openings for people with accounting skills.
The pastoral council is an advisory group to the Pastor that meets monthly to address the current and future development of parish life. Meetings normally take place at 7:30 on the fourth Monday of the month in the Parish Conference Room. All parishioners are welcome to attend. Pastoral Council members serve for three years. Selection of new council members takes place each spring, when nominations are requested from the parish at large. Those nominated are invited to participate in the process of discerning whom among themselves should serve as replacements for outgoing council members.
STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE
The Stewardship Committee supports the pastor in promoting and recognizing effective use of time, talents and treasure. They meet the third Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Rectory. Interested people are needed for a three to five year assignment.
CHURCH CLEAN-UP GROUP
This group cleans the church each Saturday after the 8:00 a.m. Mass (8:30 to 10:00). Volunteers willing to work are always needed. No experience required.
These people assist with the parish office and ministry support activities.
The Plant Committee reviews and inspects the physical condition of the church buildings and presents recommendations. They usually meet on the third Wednesday of the month. Volunteers with experience in building, maintenance and planning are always needed.
Volunteers support the Prepare the Way of the Lord – Religious Articles store which is available after the Saturday evening and Sunday Masses. This includes staffing the store, ordering the religious articles and stocking the shelves.
